Royalpex 2017 was a New Zealand Specialised National Stamp Exhibition run by the Royal Philatelic Society of New Zealand under the patronage of the New Zealand Philatelic Federation (NZPF). It was governed by the ‘Approved Regulations for New Zealand National Philatelic Exhibitions’ of the NZPF. Royalpex 2017 was a Specialised exhibition (sometimes referred to as a ‘half-National’) as it was open to fewer classes than normally made available at a National. Royalpex 2017 worked in association with Stampex 2017 Adelaide, an Australian ‘half-National’ that was held in October 2017 and provided the other classes.
