This event celebrates one hundred years of the current society. A Wanganui Philatelic Society was established in 1896 but, as with many other similar societies in New Zealand, it appears the First World War saw their demise. Our current society was reinstated in 1921 and 2021 sees us celebrate 100 years of activity.
